Well, it was the day after Valentine’s Day, on our Friday night date night, because that’s when we have free babysitting from our babysitting exchange group. So we went to Syun, one of my favorite restaurants. It’s a japanese place in the basement of the old Hillsboro Library (I think). It’s very cool, and the food is yummy.

We ordered yakiniku (thin beef - divine!), yakiudon noodles, and a big plate of sushi (chef’s choice). Rachel’s not a fish eater, but she did have a few pieces of sushi. I was pretty proud/impressed.
