I have been thinking about writing reviews about books I’m reading on our blog, and my friend Darilyn inspired me with her “What I’m Reading Now” sidebar …So, Josh created a sidebar link for me - “What Rachel’s Reading.” Josh and I both enjoy reading books in a variety of genres, in ebook (Josh’s preferred format) and “dead-tree” versions (my preferred format). I also love to hear about great books that my friends have read, so feel free to recommend anything. And yes, I’ve read the Twilight series. Love it.

I’m currently reading the 7th book in the No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency series, titled Blue Shoes and Happiness. I was introduced to the series in the book club I have been a part of for four years now. There is something so charming about these books. The main character, Precious Ramotswe, is so likable, easy-going and wise, and solves the most hilarious predicaments that people get themselves into.
